About Us

The Entrepreneurship Hub (E-Hub) is a non-profit organization that is a collaborative effort with the US Embassy. The E-Hub seeks to create an enabling environment for entrepreneurship within Trinidad and Tobago (T&T).

Its primary task is to become an entrepreneurship community that promotes collaboration, consensus building and shared knowledge about business best practices. This will be achieved by creating an effective platform for networking, training, and policy improvements to positively impact the community by promoting employment, economic growth, and opportunities.

To date the Hub has facilitated programs such as the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs & The Small Business Workshop Series.

Financial Literacy, Loan and Export Readiness Workshop

Join us in our FREE 3 Day Workshop for small business owners that focuses on addressing when to engage an accountant, building you business’s value proposition for export, understanding your financial statements and using them to access financing.

Our 3 day workshop runs on –

9th, 11th & 12th April 2024 | 9am to 3pm

The Academy of Women Entrepreneurs

The Entrepreneurship Hub executes projects that create an enabling platform for networking and training.

In 2021 The Entrepreneurship Hub launched the AWE Academy for Women Entrepreneurs in collaboration with the US Embassy. AWE is designed to empower local female entrepreneurs to become successful and is part of an ongoing effort to empower local women to fulfill their economic potential and create conditions for increased stability, security, and prosperity for all women. The Social Convening

A Workshop of Social Entrepreneurs to Discuss Practical Strategies to Overcoming Major Legal and Financial Constraints of Doing Business in Trinidad and Tobago.

Through the E-Hub’s initiative of Mapping the Social Entrepreneurship Landscape, we were able to identify and catalog 109 Social Entrepreneurs in T&T. The data reflected that many of our social entrepreneurs operate in alignment with at least one United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The Entrepreneurship Hub executes projects that share knowledge about best business practices

The Basics of Photography project is a US Embassy grant funded project that seeks to teach participants between the ages of 15-19 the core concepts of photography and the entrepreneurial mindset behind it required for a successful business.

Small Business Workshop Series

Business Development, Networking and Training

The Trinidad & Tobago Entrepreneurship Hub launched its Small Business Workshop Series. It will take place on the 3rd Thursday of each month for 12 months. The aim is to build the capacity of young entrepreneurs here in Trinidad & Tobago by leveraging the resources provided by the My YLAI Network. The first session received excellent feedback from the local regional corporations and members of the migrant and autistic communities. Thank you for grant funding from the U.S. Embassy Trinidad and Tobago for making this possible.

Mapping the Social Entrepreneurial Landscape is a U.S. Embassy Port of Spain grant funded project which aims to

Create an online platform for entrepreneurs by developing a website.
Identify, catalog, and convene, 100+ Social Entrepreneurship (SE) organizations in Trinidad and Tobago.
Increase awareness of the EHub presence and resources in the T&T entrepreneurial community.

Mapping the Social Entrepreneurial Landscape allowed for the capture of vital data to be used in supporting and encouraging these social endeavors.
